“The therapy is great and I feel that I am making progress every day. The staff really listens to me. For example, if you are having a problem and have pain, they work with you to alleviate the discomfort. My nurse Maureen gets 10 stars. I don’t know how she does it, but she remembers everything and does it all. I would recommend this place to anyone in a New York minute!”

“The convenience of the WiFi technology at Alden Estates of Barrington is wonderful. During my stay, I was able to access the Internet from anywhere in the building, including the dining room, beauty salon and even my own room. "My husband, who had a stroke and now has a tracheotomy, has been a patient at Alden Estates of Barrington since March 2007. When he came here, the staff went out of their way to make him feel at ease and comfortable. Nurses and other staff now stop by his room to chat, share stories about their families and talk sports. In a way, the staff has become like a second family to my husband. They take care of him when I cannot be here and the nurses do an excellent job of keeping me informed about how he is doing. I am grateful that he has people who genuinely care about him."
