"THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE. I was recently discharged from your
facility, Alden Estates of Barrington, after a very long stay following some
rather serious surgery. My opening contact with your organization began with
the administrator Greg and his assistant Sheri Counselbaum. After being
greeted by them, it was quickly obvious to me that they hired people who
care very much about the well-being of the patients. It seemed that no
request was too big or too small if it would materially aid in a speedier
and more positive return to functionally good health. You are to be
congratulated for having chosen them to oversee the running of Alden Estates
of Barrington.
I want to congratulate you on your selection of employees. Not once in the
entire time I was with you did I detect a frown on anyone’s face or a
negative attitude in any employee’s interaction with me, even if I
accidentally hit the ‘call button’ or if they were just in my room and I had
to recall them because I forgot something.
Everyone who took care of me made me feel like I was their only patient.
Best of all, when I spoke to them, they actually listened to me. This might
not seem like a big thing, but it’s something, the lack of which, an elderly
person experiences far more than they should.
My experience with Alden Estates of Barrington has left me with the feeling
that it is the only choice for a person who might need aftercare from a
medical procedure or treatment. I am convinced that you have chosen to
employ people who care very much about the profession of taking care of
people who need help after a medical necessity. You guys are the absolute
best, the only choice, as far as I’m concerned."

"My therapy visit following double knee replacement has been thoroughly satisfactory. I was especially impressed with my therapy. One therapist in particular, Barbara, had a special talent and was able to feel my energy blocks with her fingers. From what little I know of soft tissue therapy, it generally is aggressive massaging of swollen ligaments and muscles. In her case, though, her soft painless touch was like an "extraction" experience. She was able to draw out the energy block and free up the energy flow right on the spot. I was quite impressed."

"My mother has been to other rehab facilities and I can honestly say Alden Estates of Barrington is the best one. Physical therapy was great and they made her work very hard to get her back on her feet quickly. Her experience was made even better due to the fact that there was WiFi, which was a MUST in selecting a rehab facility this time around.
